In 2018 The Sky is My Limit funded the renovation of a dilapidated building and created a “free” walk-in medical clinic in Dzogadze. We purchased 50 kilos of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals in Canada and we (my dear friend and associate Aubrey Spring- Director, The Sky is My Limit) carried it in our luggage. This equipment and medicine cost about 10,000 Cedi.

Then I asked the Regional Health Authorities to provide a list of medicines required for common regional illnesses. We went to the wholesale pharmacy and purchased most of these items and we personally delivered them to Dzogadze. The cost of these drugs was about 5,000 Cedi.

We ensured that a water pipe from the borehole was brought to the clinic so that the assistant nurses would have access to clean water for their patients.

We had the local school children parade around the village to announce the opening of the clinic (awareness campaign) and held 2 annual malaria testing clinics. We purchased the malaria testing kits from a hospital in Akatsi. The testing kits cost about 5,000 Cedi for each malaria campaign.
