Vision Statement

KEKELI CO-OPERATIVE FOR THE NEEDY LBG envisions a future where every community in Ghana has access to clean water, sanitation, and sustainable livelihoods, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.

Mission Statement


At Kekeli Co-operative for the Needy, our mission is to empower underserved communities by providing sustainable solutions for water access, agriculture, and environmental conservation. We achieve this by offering soft loans for the maintenance of boreholes, supporting smallholder farmers with financial assistance, and promoting reforestation initiatives to restore ecosystems. Through these efforts, we strive to improve livelihoods, enhance food security, and ensure a healthier environment for future generations.

Key Activities

1. Water Sustainability: Providing micro-loans to Borehole Management Committees (BMC) for the maintenance of boreholes, ensuring access to clean water for communities.
2. Reforestation: Engaging in reforestation efforts, planting palm and coconut trees in Dzagadze and Akeve, to promote environmental sustainability and provide economic benefits to local communities.
3. Microfinance: Offering micro-loans to small-holder female farmers, empowering them to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the local economy.
4. Community Development: Collaborating with local communities to identify and address their needs, promoting community-led development and social cohesion.

Key Services

1. Microfinance Services: Providing micro-loans to Borehole Management Committees (BMC) and small-holder female farmers.
2. Water Management Support: Offering technical assistance and training to BMCs to ensure effective management and maintenance of boreholes.
3. Reforestation Services: Planting and maintaining palm and coconut trees in Dzagadze and Akeve.
