Read MoreEach borehole is professionally drilled by qualified borehole specialists. Each water well can provide potable water for up to 2,000 people, 365 days a year for up to 15 or more years with proper maintenance. Each borehole is mechanized and has a 7,500 to 10,000 litre poly tank holding tank.
Our 70 water wells services over 250 villages, 10 schools and 130,000 needy people with free and accessible potable water.
Kekeli is dedicated to extending and maximizing the life cycle of every borehole through our comprehensive Repair and Maintenance Programmed.

We are, a non-profit incorporated to ensure the sustainability of 68 borehole constructed by the Sky Is My Limit (TSIML), a Ghanaian-Canadian ,NGO, in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta Region of Ghana. TSIML constructed over 60 mechanized boreholes, following it's folding-up Kekeli has also constructed 8 more boreholes. All funding for the boreholes are from TSIML Canada, whose Director is Brian Moskow also know as Torgbui Agamah Dormenyo I. So Kekeli principally provides micro-loans to the Borehole Management Committees (BMC) for the maintenance of the boreholes and also to small-holder female farmers. Kekeli is also into reforestation and has over 5 acres each of palm and coconut Dzagadze and Akeve, all in the Akatsi South Municipality.


At Kekeli Co-operative for the Needy, our mission is to empower underserved communities by providing sustainable solutions for water access, agriculture, and environmental conservation. We achieve this by offering soft loans for the maintenance of boreholes, supporting smallholder farmers with financial assistance, and promoting reforestation initiatives to restore ecosystems. Through these efforts, we strive to improve livelihoods, enhance food security, and ensure a healthier environment for future generations.
